July of 2006 in Denver Colorado
The annual gathering of the Vespa Club of America took place July 27th
through July 30th of 2006 in and around Denver Colorado. No, I didn't get
to go (too much going on at the office to get away). Twin Cities
area scooterists were well represented (almost certainly better
represented than if I had gone) with Dave Marquis making the
journey on his Stella Atomic Fireball scooter. That's right, Dave rode his
Stella from St. Paul Minnesota to Denver Colorado and back again. I'm
hoping to get him to share some of his adventures and will post them here.

Scooterville was also in attendance and is seen below at the Stella
gathering holding a sign. I'm not sure what the sign says, but I would
expect "Kiss me I'm a Stella rider" is on there someplace. Dave is (supposedly)
hiding in the back of the picture.
It looks like it was a wonderful event and I'm truly sorry I missed it
- maybe next year.
