I'm just one of those people who thinks that a completely "stock" scooter is
a sad thing. Hmmmm, come to think of it, just about every scooterist I know has
done something to their ride. It might be the addition of some
trim or a luggage rack, or even a complete custom paint job, but it's something
beyond pure stock.
In the picture above we see my 2005 Stella. It was the cowls that really
screamed "do something to me." That slightly recessed strip near the bottom just
needed to be messed with. After a lot of thought and some serious digging
around, I found that taxi-cab decals fit perfectly in that space. It took a
couple of visits to cab garages, but I found the supplier. One has to buy it in
fairly large rolls, so I have more than I could use and thought I'd offer the
decal material in strips by the foot. If my current roll sells out, I will do my
best to get more.
The price is $1.25 per foot, and I will ship it (Priority Mail - $5.00
flat rate) in a continuous roll. So if you want ten feet, order "quantity
10" and you will get a roll of ten feet for $17.50 with the shipping.
You need to "order" BOTH the decal material in the
length you want AND the shipping. I have to do it this way to keep the shipping
charge the same regardless of the quantity of material ordered.

The Taxi-Cab Decal Material is SOLD OUT
That's right, the entire carton of spools of real taxi-cab decal material is
gone. I have not been able to find more of the "real" stuff, but I did find some
two-row checkerboard decal stuff:
